The primary aim of the multiplier event was to disseminate information about newly developed international curricula for secondary schools – specifically, educational materials for programming courses – to Slovak institutions outside of the project consortium. The project’s outcomes, PR1-PR4, were presented. The event consisted of two parts: 1) a presentation of the project’s results and 2) sample teaching lessons on object-oriented programming using a textbook prepared as part of PR4 (a handbook for secondary school teachers).
The first part aimed to provide a general overview of the project’s activities and outcomes. The second part was designed as an interactive session, demonstrating how secondary school teachers could use the specific educational materials in their own lessons.
Interactions with secondary school teachers provided valuable feedback for the multiplier event. Colleagues from Obchodná akadémia Považská Bystrica (a project partner) shared their experiences of using the prepared teaching materials. The event had 23 in-person participants, including teachers from various secondary schools in the Žilina and Trenčín regions.
