On Wednesday and Thursday, 19th and 20th January 2022, the initial meeting of the OOP4FUN project took place. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and associated restrictions, the meeting was held online.
This inaugural meeting primarily focused on preparing for and discussing the first two project outcomes: PR1 “Analysis of the current state and identification of gaps in programming education” and PR2 “Proposal for a new approach to teaching programming”.
Despite the online format, the partners successfully discussed and planned all project activities. They introduced themselves, delved into the overall project content, consulted on project management and collaboration methods, and commenced work on the first project output. This output will enable them to explore, learn, and implement the changes outlined in the project’s objectives.
