The OOP4FUN project consortium convened for its annual meeting on 30th and 31st November 2023. Hosted by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics at the University of Pardubice, with support from the Gymnázium Dašická, the event brought together partners from across the project.

Key highlights of the meeting included:

  • Evaluation of Project Outcomes: Participants jointly assessed the results of project activities PR2 and PR3, particularly in the development of new curricula and materials for programming education.
  • Greenfoot Workshop: A dedicated workshop on the Greenfoot tool was organized by the Faculty of Management and Informatics at the University of Žilina. Greenfoot is a tool used in the jointly developed teaching materials for secondary school teachers and future teachers (pedagogy students).
  • Future Planning: The project coordinator presented the current budget and outlined the tasks and activities for the upcoming period, focusing on the commencement of PR4.

The meeting provided a platform for:

  • Knowledge Sharing: Partners exchanged insights and experiences related to the project implementation.
  • Networking: Participants engaged in face-to-face interactions and discussions.
  • Future Planning: Concrete steps were outlined for the further development of the project.

The event concluded with an informal gathering and a tour of Pardubice for all participants.
