The OOP4FUN project consortium held its annual meeting on December 7th and 8th, 2022, hosted by the partner institution, Srednja škola Ivanec, Croatia. Due to logistical reasons, the meeting was held in Varaždin at the Faculty of Organisation and Informatics, University of Zagreb, which is located approximately 25 km northwest of Ivanec.

Key discussion points during the meeting included:

  • PR1 Analysis: Participants focused on the progress of PR1, which aims to analyze the current state and identify gaps in programming education. Srednja škola Ivanec, as the coordinator of PR1, presented their findings and facilitated discussions.
  • PR2 Learning Design: The team working on PR2, focused on designing new approaches to programming education, presented a draft document for review and feedback.
  • Learning Design Workshop: A workshop was conducted to introduce participants to the LearningDesign.eu tool, which has been instrumental in achieving the outcomes of PR2 and PR3. The workshop was led by representatives from the Faculty of Management and Informatics in Varaždin, who are the developers of the tool.
  • PR3 Overview: Basic information about the objectives and initial progress of PR3 was presented.

Additional activities:

  • The meeting provided an opportunity for project partners to network and share experiences.
  • An informal gathering and a tour of Varaždin concluded the event.

Overall, the meeting was a success, providing a valuable opportunity for project partners to collaborate and make significant progress towards the project’s goals.
